Thomas Point Light is located just below Annapolis, Maryland, on the Chesapeake Bay. The present lighthouse on the shoal was commissioned in 1875. Fully automated in 1986, the Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse was one of the last two on the Bay to have been manned by the US Coast Guard. The structure was designated an historic landmark in 1975.

Sanibel Days is Pat's third print featuring the lighthouse located on the eastern tip of Sanibel Island, near Ft. Myers, Florida. Sanibel Lighthouse has been in operation since 1884, and traditionally the lighthouse keeper and his family resided in one of the two wood frame houses which were built at the same time.

Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse Located in central Florida, this brick, 175-foot "Light Station at Mosquito Inlet" was completed in 1887 as a warning device for seamen in an area dreaded by mariners. Still active today, the Ponce de Leon Inlet Light Station is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. All of its original buildings are still intact, many of which now house navigation museum pieces and other attractions for visitors to view.

The New Point Comfort Lighthouse stands at the southeastern end of Mathews County, Virginia, on a small island in the Chesapeake Bay. Construction for the eight-sided structure occurred between 1801-1804. Electricity powered the light for the first time in 1950. From 1954-1976 the Coast Guard was directly responsible for the structure. In April 1976, the county acquired the property from the federal government, and ongoing restoration efforts have been made by local organizations and volunteers. New Point Comfort Lighthouse is also featured in the Moss print Guiding Light.
