Let's take a closer look at Pat's joyful bouquet tribute to a favorite season . . .
This bouquet is such an attention-getter!
Like the charisma of a vibrant beauty who enters a room, you can't take your eyes off the explosion of orange flowers bursting forth into the scene.

In choosing the inner mat, I wanted to create a simple 3D effect by using a white core burned earth orange mat. This mat picked up on the neutral colors in the shadow reflection of the vase and lines of the table. The white is so subtle, your eye naturally focuses on the vibrant orange flowers.

Orange bursts with the passion and energy of two primary colors, red and yellow. Isn't it amazing how Pat so masterfully calms that vibrant boldness with the more muted golds of the surrounding giving the feeling of divine generosity and joy. You can almost feel the breeze coming in through the window and see the gentle movement of the sway of the flowers and leaves with each gentle wisp.

I decided to use a more neutral golden tan outer mat with a white core and veined texture to compliment the texture of the background of the print and give it just a touch more of the 3D effect.

I chose a simple black frame that picks up the vase and black disc florets.
